I read. A lot. My kids read. A lot. I come from a huge family of readers, and I take personal responsibility in my children's reading habits.
about two years ago, i received my kindle as a Christmas gift from my children and boyfriend. i had not really thought about getting an e-reader as i couldn't imagine giving up my paper books. little did i know the amazing world of self published authors that awaited me. Authors like Erica Stevens, Tiffany King, Tammara Webber, and Barbara Freethy have opened my eyes to the endless possibilities of books beyond my tree books by Nora Roberts, Charlaine Harris, Dean Koontz and Harlan Coben. I realized how sheltered i was where my reading was concerned. Now, I carry all of my books everywhere i go. My 13 year old son got his first kindle this year used and i upgraded him to a paperwhite for Christmas. My birth mother has the nook and my sister has a used kindle.
